RE-lNTRODUCTION:
My name is Cas, I'm thirty and have been writing pretty much since kindergarten! This blog in particular has gone from aesthetic to aesthetic and now I am settling it as my writblr (writeblr?) for the foreseeable future. My main blog is @brightburner and I like, reply and follow from there. My favorite genres to write include fantasy, dark fantasy and horror. I write adult fiction and new adult fiction. My current main project, Epyllion is almost complete and I plan to edit and seek out publishing once it is finished!
As of right now I have these original stories:
EDITING DRAFT:
I. Epyllion - “With the royal family weak and war looming on the borders with the neighboring Illyrius, one night of bloodshed sets off a chain of events that could topple the hard fought stability the people of Mavros have clung to since their world nearly ended.” A dark fantasy about an ancient city, waring nations, betrayal, revenge and the lengths one young woman will go to to have it. Also a nice dash of enemies to lovers. It is inspired by things like Bloodborne, Six of Crows, Gangs of New York and The Gentleman Bastard Series. FUTURE/ON-GOING WIPs:
II. In the Shadow of the Valley - Curses are real, this is known. Not by magic, but by will— heartbreak, shame, tragedy... staining a place as surely as blood upon fresh snow. In the town of Thrace, there exists a prophecy that such a curse, harkened by a witch, will destroy them from within. Forcing the two prominent clans to wage war. And on a winter night, in the flames of betrayal and death, that witch is born. TAGLIST: (ask to be +/-) @reowrites @blueinkblot @chazzawrites
III. Empyrean - sequel to Epyllion.
IV. Wildemoor - A young hitchhiker stumbles across a quaint cafe in the heart of the small town of Wildemoor. The seemingly innocuous “Homebrew” proves to be anything but as Ellori discovers the denizens of the town hail from realities beyond our own. TAGLIST: (ask to be +/-)
