thinking about just how much of klaus' obsession with thwarting agatha hinges on his thwarted romance with lucrezia

i mean for the love of god, she's a vicious narcissistic force of destruction that he fell in love with and then she left him to marry one of his best friends (a known good guy, hello?!) AND THEN WENT AND DID GOD KNOWS WHAT AND IT ENDED EVEN WORSE THAN HE COULD HAVE IMAGINED

how much of this is about the heterodynes and even the other and how much of this is about klaus' mixture of guilt towards his friend and continuing interest in his crazy ex? and WHAT would zantabraxus say?!

it is sooooooo fucking funny to me that gil doesn't realize his dad is a WHORE

something so interesting about the way lucrezia chooses to interpret the queens' lack of understanding of the mirrors...she's not entirely wrong that they didn't immediately seek to understand them, but the queens were also out founding and nurturing civilizations while lucrezia was plotting unsuccessful takeovers of existing ones. it shows an intriguing lack of imagination on her part, but also an unexpected degree of focus.
