Aside from dealing with issues with my new laptop, I was able to test the newest version of Mario Kart Wii Deluxe on it. It runs very well in 4x screen resolution (so long as I switch to MSHybrid Graphics Mode. Discrete graphics causes stuttering and lag).

I also discovered that someone ported a few of the tracks from Re-Volt, a late-90's RC car racing game that basically defined my childhood. So, I enabled the Free Look camera in Dolphin and have some fun taking screenshots throughout those tracks!

So, this is different from what I usually post, but I wanted to share a commission I received from a friend that I made somewhat recently:

I commissioned art of a human-like character, which is something I've never done before! These drawings were created by @sleepymuichiro1. I'm still playing around with this character's personality/purpose in their life, but what I have now is, she's a 32 year old actress/pop-star who looks like she'd be sweet and kind, but her music and roles in movies paint her as that stereotypical diva. In reality, however, she is as sweet as her color scheme is. Her real name I haven't came up with yet, but her stage is Candy Pebbles. Her music style is like a combination of Britney Spears, Meghan Trainor, and Ariana Grande (all three artists that I really like). She exists in the same universe as T-Bone (my Pokésona), and, despite his friends' dislike towards her acting/music, he (along with many, many others) considers her iconic and a huge inspiration.

The inspiration I have for this character is... very random. When I was a kid, I used to play this RC racing game on PC all the time (and still do sometimes), called Re-Volt. I recently remembered that, during my childhood, I came up with personalities for a few of the cars, like this one called, well, Candy Pebbles:

As a kid, I felt that this car should be an actress/pop-singer who was very much that stereotypical diva (of course, I've altered that recently for my character). I also used to think that the rear-end of the car looked like blue-framed glasses with red lenses. So, I commissioned Jazzy a character with features from this car, which, again, is very random, but I liked how it turned out!

Hello again! So I heard you like drawing obscure characters? I'm gonna go real obscure an suggest a set of characters who really only appear within the second-to-last episode of Challenge Of The Gobots:

The Dread Launchers! From left to right the characters are Chaos, Re-Volt, and Traitor (Sorry that Chaos is a bit hidden here :/)

Draw them as they are, redesign them how you see fit, do some other funky thing with them, I don't really mind! Surprise me! And if you need some more reference pictures of them, don't hesitate to hit me up, I've got plenty ^v^

I really tried with the limited reference I’ve had and just decided to go a lil crazy. They were fun to draw!! Kinda insecticon looking ahh guys. Hope I did okay xD.

Also I am feeling absolutely weird rn. My doctor gave me some new meds that I’ve been kinda skeptical about but I took them anyway. Now I feel horrible. Apologies if it’s lower quality than my other stuff I just actually feel so weird.
