There appears to be an emotional distance between him and Ashley a bit even if he's touchy af with her but i think that's just one of Leon's love languages or he's touch starved lol

I think remake really emphasised on how these characters feel through these highly stressful situations and when you look at Ashley for example, forming an attachment and crush in that situation is not ooc but i think Leon knows what's going on he just didn't wanna be presumptuous or hurt her feelings. His life isn't that of where she'd be safe if they were together me thinks

also sorry, i know this isn't the kind of asks you're getting about characters but i just wanted to talk about this game a bit i suppose. I love Leon <3

I think the realism of it all is what makes the remake successful.

my friend, i gotta ask about re4 remake since you played it, was there ever any romance or any implications?

Well, Leon isn't the corny suave flirt that he is in the original; if anything, he's much more reserved and professional.

From where I'm standing, the romantic implications were downplayed in the remake. Leon is much colder towards Ada this go around and I view his feelings towards Ashely as more platonic than anything.

Gosh it's also why i think he was especially cautious when it came to Ashley's obvious crush on him, he didn't wanna come off as presumptious so he had to think of a more gentle way to turn her down without hurting her feelings. I know this situation all too well.

I just think he'd be so fun to rile up with flirty teasing and such, he seems grumpy and who knows how far you're willing to take those very teasing remarks until one thing leads to another.

I think Leon's just a consummate professional through and through. Business first! And of course, he's a grump but your witty and flirtatious banter is a surefire way to turn him on.
