i just know they're gunna remove the cross dressing line in RE:CVr which is fine (though so out of place its funny and will miss it) but I still think its funnier to HC Claire as homophobic. Girl ur brother is on that island too getting choked by his ex-captain who's in kink gear this is fruit island. Your in fact hating from inside the club.
I’m ready for code veronica remake !!!!!!!! Claire Redfield 1 chance pls
Wreck him, Alexia
I finally played Code Veronica so I made a Wigglypaint drawing to go with my other Wigglypaint drawings of all the Resident Evil games!
A Code Veronica print concept, in celebration of this being my first RE game I’ve completed AND the remake coming soon!
I wanna put Wesker’s sunglasses somewhere but I can’t find a place :(
thinking a lot about how much chris and claire shape one another. Chris is caring, protective, and was once very goofy, probably used to playing with his younger sister, half showing her the ropes, half having fun as they were both free. Claire is confident, initiative, and again protective of people around her. It's obvious that the training she got from chris allows her to flourish and take charge in different scenerios, and i'm sure losing her parents young and chris joining air forces forced her to grow up and face the world a lot sooner. Both of them are people who can not leave people behind, and both of them can't stand still when an obvious wrong is being done. They are both very rightous and proactive people.
In the most fascinating way, though, the way they differ. Claire is a lot more willing to play go lone-wolf or play the leader if needs be. Would having a teammate be helpful? Yeah, sure, why not. But she has enough confidence in herself, her abilities and her morality that she doesn't hesitate to take charge by herself. Even when she has other characters, it feels more like friendly allies. You have no doubt that claire can and will go on her own way.
Chris, on the other hand, is defined by partnership. He is used to being in a group, he is used to being part of a duo. A whole game by itself focuses on his relationship with his partners, and then another game focuses on his traumas and his leadership. He leads, sure, but especially in the early games he does not stand out as a person who wants a higher position of power. He steps up because he has the most experience, or he is willing to sacrifice himself, or he can't stand not taking any action. Him and jill are on equal footing in re 1, in code veronica he saves claire but it's nowhere near leading her, re5 is alll about the guilt he feels about not saving jill, not feeling like sheva and him are equals, and how he wants someone on equal footing as him, even when he is leading. Hell even in re6, piers is a follower, yes, but he is also seen as the heir. Chris sees him as a future leader. So not only chris someone who craves a team, but he craves a team of equals. The difference in behaviour between two siblings and how they approach group versus individual work is so amazing to analyse
