Your statement that Zayn doesn't appeal to white people because he's 'Muslim and a person of color' is confusing me. The Weeknd, Roddy, Jay Z, Kanye, Travis Scott and countless others are out there selling millions of albums to white people and not even passing as white like Zayn can with his super light skin.

You also seem to think being a Muslim is a defining trait for Zayn when he said he wasn't one in the last interview he did with Vogue in 2018. Muslims don't drink alcohol or smoke weed and he was doing both on his live so safe to say he feels the same. I am Muslim and having a child outside marriage is also very frowned upon, which is why Safaa got wed so quickly at just 17.

I think you popped in and read one thing or you’re making a lot of assumptions. The context was who his label thought his market was in 2016 if 1d audiences had abandoned him as the anon was saying.
