While I have not had time to read lots from the @jaime-brienne-fic-exchange yet, here are the one that I have enjoyed so far!

You‘ve read The Last Sun right? Could you tell me if there’s any shapeshifting in that book so I’ll know whether or not it fits the prompt for the magic readathon lol? (Also whether or not there’s any in the Name of the Wind if you’ve also read that) thank you!

OK, so there is a character who can do some minor shape-shifting in the Last Sun (and I think others with glamour and the such? It’s been a while, and there’s a LOT of magic ability in the book, but there’s one character in particular I’m thinking about - others who have read the book/series, please chime in). I can’t say enough good things about The Last Sun/The Hanged Man, really, though there are some trigger warnings (if you’ve read the All for the Game series, you should be ok). I haven’t read the Name of the Wind, though now I’m gonna check it out.

HP Femslash February Fic Recs!

Whooo! We’re almost two weeks into femslash February (!!! I really need to go write some more femslash!!!) and I figured, in honour of that & galentines day, I would do a mini fic rec of a few of the femslash fics I’ve been reading & loving lately (yes, some of them are very old, whatever).

A lovely post-war canon-divergent tale of Hermione coming to terms with her sexuality, and Pansy coming to terms with Hermione.

The Scandalous Tale of the Diagon Nursery Calendar by woldy

Summary: In which Hermione finds herself again following her divorce, becomes re-acquainted with old enemies, and nearly everyone takes their clothes off.

Brilliant fic about the things our Gryffindor heroine would do to save the Diagon Nursery! Plus a shameless Pansy Parkinson and a nude photoshoot. What more could you ask for??

Another of those older-but-amazing fics that I somehow missed earlier and wish I hadn’t. What to even say about this fic? Pure brilliance.

Honestly, I just shamelessly love soulmate AUs? And this one was great - I love that Hermione tried to resist it, because of course she did. I don’t think she’d let anything be dictated by fate, at least until she decided herself that it was a good idea. Just excellent all around!
