As you can see this is Waking Olivia by @elizabethoroark I was recommended this read by Abbi Glines, so of course I was gonna read it! I just wasn’t sure I was going to love it, sports romances aren’t usually my thing. But this is definitely more than just a sports romance. I hadn’t ever read anything by Elizabeth O’Roark before, but I can tell you I will be doing so now. #WakingOlivia #ReadAndReviewed #SportsRomance #CollegeSportsRomance #SexyCoach My Review: What a great read! Olivia is always running, even when she isn’t aware, and Will wants to always be there to catch her. This story is heartbreaking, breathtaking and full of hope and longing from the very start. The will they won’t they, forbidden romance with all the tension is utterly amazing. But the part that got me the most was Will’s mom, she was probably my favorite character and I couldn’t even tell you exactly why. The writing is amazing, the characters are great and the storyline had me in tears of sadness and joy on multiple occasions. Can you share your YA Lit reading list? I took a YA Lit course (as well as a Children's Lit course) for my Master's Degree (Library Science), but it was back in 2012, so would be curious to see which titles make the course list four years later. Only if you don't mind sharing, of course! :)

Absolutely!  My professor is insanely well-versed in all things YA Lit, speaks at all sorts of conferences and whatnot, so (I hope! (I’m not up-to-date on all things YA Lit anymore)) every book should be a) recent and b) really good!

June 29. Reading Sprints. So I’ve been chugging through this one because it’s a writing month and I’m trying to minimize my exposure to fiction that isn’t mine. I spent some quality time on my hammock earlier this week when I snapped this, and I only had one chapter thing left tonight.

Pages read: 30. And that’s the whole book!

I liked it, but not as much as I liked London Under by the same author. There were good parts and thought-provoking parts, but there were also parts I basically skimmed. Oops.
