God how you loved the word. Needless to say, the sex was amazing, as was the kissing, the cuddling and just about everything else. It was your two year anniversary and you decided to do something simple, candle lit dinner at home and the curl up with a glass of bubbly and put on a romance film, something good to cuddle to but something you had seen plenty of times before in case you were distracted and ended up making out.
Dinner went by as normal. You held hands in between courses and shared your dessert, feeding each other with a smile. After dinner you were both curled up on the sofa, you sitting in his lap with your head tucked under his chin and his arms around you. The film you had decided on was ‘Love Actually’ and it was one of your favourite films to watch together because one of the couples had a European who spoke little English. It was always when they were on screen that Greg whispered their lines into your ear in French.
After a while, you began to fall asleep against him, his whispers lulling you to sleep.
"Tu es tellement belle. Tout est merveilleux avec toi. Je t'aimerai à jamais, ma chérie," he whispered, his whispering continuing until he too fell asleep, finishing by whispering, “Je t'adore, je t'aime.”
"Je taime mon cher," you mumbled, his lips curving into a smile at your French.
