mentioning that the ears & cheeks was pink..or if you only want to write for your own race then okay just please put that y/n is white skinned in the “idol x __” section so black girls don’t waste time & end up sad.. (3/3)
He repeated your words. As he saw “your ears turned bright red,” 🧍🏾♀️🙍🏾♀️

Ah...& again, another one. “He took another peek at you, realizing now you guys share the same shade of color on your ears.” I thought the consensus was that reader insert fics shouldn’t use things that exclude darker fans who obvi can’t turn pink or red when we blush. First of all, thank you so much for the feedback! This is my first time publishing my work so there would always be room for improvement.
To answer your question, the reason why I never specify the race of the reader is because I really don’t want to ‘segment’ the reader. Also, English is not my first language and I’m constantly learning! I understand where you’re coming from and I will definitely take that as a note. I just feel like those sentence are some of the way to describe the feelings, so in a sense, it does not have to be that literally. Again, it’s a fiction so it is up to the reader’s imagination and I’m just using the words to convey the scenarios!
Also, I’m not white perse and also a part of POC but what I can tell you is I’m not black and I don’t think I have enough knowledge to write about it.
This is definitely a learning for me, and again I’m writing this as a hobby and the main reason why I share it because I hope it could help you entertained especially during these times. So if I do upset you in my writings, I’m truly sorry for it because it was never my intentions!
I hope that helps to clarify some things, have a wonderful day/night! 💚
