Star constellations were so appealing, you thought. You were always so perplexed when you managed to catch one, and Dream seemed to notice. Every Time you went out to stare at the stars, Dream questioned you. It’s usually him caring, in case you were to catch a cold. But most of the time he just asked you to sleep with him, the most euphoric feeling you could’ve felt.
“Please?” Dream whined.
You sighed at his fussing. “I read Delphinus will be visible today,”
“Can’t you at least watch it from here?”
“You know I can’t,” You spoke softly, a loud groan by Dream followed shortly after. You stared at his troubled face. A child, you thought, this happened every time you wanted to go out. Although you were so fond of him caring for you.
You sighed sharply, “Would you...want to join me?”
Dreams attention suddenly drifted towards the door.
Setting up the telescope that was shoved into a small suitcase, Dream stared. Is he still staring? You glanced at the Man, who was now sat on the ground. His face dimly lit by the lantern. Yeah, he is. You questioned his gaze, was there something on you? Was your hair a mess?
“You look gorgeous..” Startled at the man who suddenly appeared behind you.
“Jesus, Dream!” Amused at your unease, Dream chuckled.
“Chill, Chill!” Now calm, your body turned to face the tall man. His eyes staring back at yours intently.
“Are we about to kiss right now?” You spoke out breaking the tension between you two. Dream bursted out laughing at your joke, giggling to yourself a bit also.
“You’re such a dork.” Dream joked. His hands now cupping your pink tinted cheeks. A shooting star flew past you, unbothered. Your full attention on Dream, the man who you loved deeply. You don’t know whether to tell him you love him verbally, or physically. You cherished this type of interaction; Dream cherished you. The space between you quickly faded, your lips pressed against his. You could still taste some of the cherry pie that you baked for him earlier. Feeling his smirk turn into a full on warm smile, you both slowly pulled away. Your face now completely red, glad that the dim moonlight covered some of it.
Dream sighed, gently pulling a strand of hair behind your ear.
