From "Unfu*k yourself" by Gary John Bishop. Never get too comfortable, certain, or sure in life. It kills development. Never settle for certainty, whether in business, a relationship, or a lifestyle. Life isn't meant to be full of security and safety, if it is full of it, maybe it means you haven't really truly lived. The space for learning lays in the undiscovered areas, so don't be afraid to go there. Just like Gary wrote, certainty is an illusion. What you're certain about now may surprise you later, so you might as well try something you really want if you might lose anyway. I came up with a thought once, that I can be good at or be successful in what I don't want or like, so I might as well try to do something I like. But I also like when life is hard, I've always felt it's what builds you the most and teaches you the best.
