The book “The Checklist Manifesto - how to get things right” by Atul Gawande
Have a checklist to reduce complexity in what you do. Make the index a routine when doing a specific task (putting the work in now to create the list will lower the risk of missing something or failure). Make it precise, efficient, easy to use, essential things bulleted and practical.
The way we look at it is that if a person is not here for some time can someone come in and know what each step to do in each given task... The answer is no, but with this new knowledge, we will start building a checklist to follow, from sales to marketing to accounts to content.
But you can also use this for your personal life. Create a checklist to build a routine that changes your thought and feeling from the start to the end of your day.
Routines turn into habits. These habits can change your mood, emotions, and actions, make you start in the present day and are in the right frame of mind.
To build a checklist to use that incorporates time for each specific task from:
waking up - what routine can you use to enhance the morning routine (meditation, drinking water, cold shower, journaling etc.) to specific actions within the day to night time routine to relax, unwind and sleep better (meditation, blue light, journalling, no stimulants etc.)
