I never got past the first book or the first season. It just doesn’t pique my interest. I see advertisements for series but I never follow through.

Yeah, I totally get that, the show is really freaking dumb but I'm such a sucker for tacky mysteries. Especially tacky mysteries with incredibly glossy, terribly dressed teenagers. Plus i have two friends who also watch it and it's kind of our Thing to get all weird about theories and stuff.

I convinced my friend I read all the books and knew every detail and she believed me for a couple years

Haha I have a friend who obsessively reads the books and points out every single difference between the show and the books, I never got past the first one.
