I was watching a live show of GD preforming Wake Me Up when September Ends and like three and a half minutes in Billie Joe was in pain to sing to the point he had to skip a few lyrics..
Like legit people gotta stop making those stupid jokes.
yesterday I watched half of the green day concert in reading 2013 with my mom who has always been a green day fan but not a diehard one like me. this morning my mom told me she had a dream where she was kissing billie joe on the neck. like mom, I'm already doing the part of the crazy fangirl in this family, we seriously don't need another one.. nah jk I fucking love my mom for this
Normally after you play a show like [Reading and Leeds], you have another show that cleanses the pallet. For some reason, we had a few weeks off after that so we were kind of in a state of shock. We had to go back out and play again to dust that feeling off... We don't want to dwell on glory, that's not a good thing to do.
Simon Neil on not resting on their laurels.
SO DONE. LIKE DONE. READING LINE UP IS
GOLDENNNNN
