No hate — this is just a personal list based on my taste and/or politics while reading :)
Honestly, life is too short. I already have so many fascinating books on my TBR, and since I’m not a professional reviewer, I don’t need to read everything just to stay “in the loop.” Time is limited, and I prefer to be picky. I follow some amazing reviewers on BookTok and YouTube who share my reading tastes, so I tend to trust their insights. Or just find underground books that really interest me.
This is simply my own “anti TBR list” to clarify what I likely won’t pick up.

At the end of the day, not everyone has the time — or the desire — to keep up with every hyped release. And honestly, I think there’s something freeing about stepping away from the pressure to read what everyone is reading. It’s okay to say no to popular books and instead follow your own curiosity, even if that means diving into more niche or underrated stories. The best reads are the ones that genuinely resonate with you.
