As many of you know, I spent the summer of 2018 getting to teach for the Institute of Reading Development, where I encountered students anywhere from 4 years old to high school, all of whom were wanting to become better readers and discover the joy of reading. As someone who used to seriously struggle with reading, this was an incredibly humbling experience for me, and I am so honored to be a part of the Institute’s legacy.
AND I WANT YOU TO BE A PART OF IT TOO!
If you have a passion for reading and a love working with others (be they kiddos or college students or adults), I highly recommend you apply for a position with the Institute of Reading Development for the Summer of 2019!
You can choose to work full-time or part-time, with teachers being paid $15 an hour! You will be able to teach a range of ages, anywhere from four year olds and kindergarten students to high school students to college students and adults! Also, it doesn't matter where you are located - the Institute of Reading Development is a nationwide program!
