RSJ: The Return - mini video :)

My new phone is pretty awesome - it made this for me out of the 10 or so clips i half-heartedly grabbed in between dances at RSJ: The Return.

Top night mind - finally persuaded the three groups of Lindy students in town to come to the same social dance! Like herding bloody cats!

think we'll be sticking with the new venue for a little while, mostly because the unfinished floor and Anderson shelter style construction reminds me of Twinwood :)

There was a thing in the park and they asked us to dance at the thing in the park, so we danced at the thing in the park for them :)

Woo! - halloween 2013 dance events lining up nicely already :) Reading Swing Jam of course will be celebrating the anniversary of the Halloween Hop with...well...basically another one, but we will have more spooky decorations, and everybody has learnt valuable lessons from last year vis a vis which costumes are likely to produce dramatic wardrobe malfunctions mid-swing out. Work is also underway on the next halloween themed playlist (you would be surprised how much ghouly oriented swing and blues there is!)
