Round 2 - Day 8 - Whole30
So I figured since I'm definitely in the "boring" part of Whole30 (drudging through the meals until I can get my Tiger blood on) I would tell y'all the other "programs" (?) that I am doing!
So I have gone back on the no poo diet! (read:No Shampoo). I use baking soda and ACV. Since it is only my first week my hair is pretty bad. I did this for about 5 months last year and loved it. Honestly the only reason I came off of it was because I ran out of Baking Soda and decided to use the shampoo and conditioner in the shower. Well my hair was in supermodel status. (Because that's what conditioner does right? Coats your hair with silicone to make it smooth and shiny. But, alas that did not last very long and soon my hair was back to it's damaged self. So back on the no poo diet I go!
I also have recently joined in on the 2,015 miles in 2015 Run/Walk Challenge. It's roughly the distance from San Antonio to Seattle (which is a trip my hubsters and I will be making very soon) so I thought how fun to "walk" it! Granted I am behind on this one because I started a couple days late, but with my half-marathon training I'm sure that won't be the case for very long.
Along with those I am just trying to live a more holistic lifestyle. Especially in being a Christ-follower! Reading my Bible, praying and just being more grateful for what the cross stands for are just a couple of additions. But, intentions need to be turned into action and that is my goal for 2015!
