Today's throwback is one or the first graphic novels I ever bought. Well, actually I bought the entire trilogy but The Death of Superman got lent out and never returned and I haven't found a replacement just yet. That said, The Return of Superman is my favorite volume of the three and it's probably the reason I'm such a reunion junkie. Clark Kent and Lois Lane have been faves of mine for nearly as long as Bruce and Selina. And just like with Batman, my first experience with the SuperFam was through the animated series. (With the exception of X-Men, most of my early comic book knowledge came from all the animated series from the 90s.) I drank in Clark's double life, Lois' sassiness, Luthor's scheming, Mxyzptlk crazy hijinks, all of it as I sat on my couch every Saturday. .
