My name and Miles Zed, and I am nineteen years old. I have long black hair that I wear in my face way to often, and I have dark black empty soulless eyes and pale white skin. I wear all black consisting of a metal band t-shirt, and black ripped jeans and my favorite pair of black high top converse shoes.The story starts with me.I'm from North Springs, Colorado. I just graduated school and more than anything that means I have more time to play my video games. My mom made me get a job but she doesn't know I'm quitting soon. I mean, why do I need to work if she's just going to take care of me anyways?I tried to convince my parents to let me play my video games in peace, but it never worked. Ever since I graduated you would think they had a reason to let up on me, but never did.They eventually told me if I wanted to keep my car I would have to get a job, so I did. It was only a distraction and a good excuse to get out of the house.It was a normal night, and I was driving home from work. It was already 7:30 and dinner was at eight. But that wasn't the point. I needed to finish dinner early because I hated staying up to late playing GOD SLAYER 3, even though I always did.I was taking the exit off the freeway and when I saw it. It was the most beautiful comet I've ever seen in my life.The purple and orange haze of the blurry yet vivid comet shot across the sky and fell behind the trees. I thought nothing of it at first. But ad I got home and got out of my car I realized in all the excitement it gave me a headache.I ran up stairs after greeting my parents and took medicine and went back down for dinner. Little did I know that comet was a sign. Not only was it a sign, my life would change forever that same night.

The elevator comes as one of my men has pushed the button when we’ve reached the spot. She walks in, leaving us here, with her head down, not looking at any of us, pressing the lobby button, and the doors closing. I get into the next elevator and on her footsteps. My men are already tailing her downstairs. We ate dinner and I felt fine long enough to forget about my headache but, as soon as I found myself climbing the stairs I realized it came back. Well, of it ever even went away.
So before I knew I was climbing into bed and I fell fast asleep.
"Wake him up." A voice whispered. It was girl voice, and I heard her nudge someone and he laughed to himself.
"No way, I don't know him! What if he tries to punch me?" He laughs.
"You have too stupid, this is not a fucking movie!" She growled.
I opened my eyes to two teenagers in my bed, on all fours face to face with me.
"What the F*ck is going on? And who are you?" I mumbled.
"See I told you.." the girl laughed.
And I quickly sat up, but instead of throwing them both back, they shifted away like it was nothing.
"This isn't funny, I don't even like movies!" The boy whined. "I'm too old for teen angst"
"Who the f*ck are you two?" I asked once I realized that there was two teenagers not only in my room. But sitting on the edge of my bed staring right at me.
"We're, Victoria and Chase." The girl said. She had pastel purple hair and a golden crescent moon sticker between her eyes. She had on dark purple eyeshadow and thick cat eye eyeliner. She had on a ROTTEN THRASH band t-shirt cut into a crop top and a fishnet shirt under it. "We're here because.. well we've got something to tell you. You remember that comet you saw earlier tonight?"
"What comet?" I lied, wiping my eyes.
"We saw it too!" She exclaimed. "That means that you me and that doofus are special." She pauses for a second to look for a response. To see what I'm thinking. "Look, your life is going to change, I know mine sure did. But just listen. We're here to help you. We're you're friends now." She said softly.
"I don't know what the F*ck you're talking about." I demand. "Mom!?" I call out impatiently.
I look to the door as it opens literally a millisecond later, and back to the two on my bed but they were already gone through the open window.
"Are you okay?" My mom asked as she came in.
"Um yeah.." I stumbled, "I don't know who opened my window.." I let out a sigh.
She walks over and closes it, and before she does I hear a voice, running away in the distance call out "We'll be back Miles! We'll just keep coming back!"
"That's weird." My mom interrupts my thoughts. "Maybe you opened it and didn't even realize before you went to bed." She offered as if she didn't even hear the voice.

"It said on my phone, that the comet is called the comet nucleus." Miles says, "And that means the bringer of bad signs. There isn't anything else much I could find."
"So why are we here?" Chase asked after a moment.
"I need to know how you guys knew about the comet. How you knew about me." He asked.
"We saw the high elders, and they explained that time is an illusion, we have to become great great Gods, and we had to come get you and go through the portal from the comet's light before it was to late." I told him and for a moment he said nothing.
"Who are the high elders?"
"A really long time ago they traveled here from the realm where we're going." Chase gave.
"Well, I have more questions, but there's no time for that!" Miles exclaims. "It's about the journey ahead of us.."
For a moment I didn't say anything. And right when I opened my mouth the room shook. It was too late. The comet's light was being casted into my bed room.
"The portal, there it is!"
This was the moment. This is when everything around me changed.

We are all in the car on the way to my job and we mostly quiet until Chase asks me. "Hey, so we never asked.. but… Where do you work at?" He asked falling just short of the question.
"I work at Gotta B's, and I serve tables." I answered sourly. "Aren't you guys gonna telle.whatvrhe f*ck you want anyways? I only agreed to let you in my car because you siad you'd tell me!" I urged pulling into the parking lot.
"We already told you!" Victoria whined "you don't listen very well and besides, after tomorrow your old life won't even matter." She laughs.
"What does that mean?" I spit.
"Hey, I'm just the messanger." She grumbled. I parked the car in my normal spot and look over at Victoria. "What does tomorrow mean then?" I asked.
"We'll get summoned by whatever's on that comet.. blah blah blah… Then we become the lost Gods." She says.
"Okay, let's say I do believe you, or at least, I have no choice, what does that even mean?"
"We don't know yet, we were only told to get you." Chase answers. "Victoria and me saw the high elders. That's how we knew to come get you. They say they'll come back after them comet disappears."
There's a moment of silence between us. "It started with me, and I lost everything." Victoria laughs. "We all saw the comet that night and my life as i know it was over."
I rest my head on the steering wheel. "Wait, you said that night?" I asked, "But you appeared that same night for me?" I questioned. But when I didn't get a response I look up and their both gone.
And there I saw them running across the parking lot laughing as they disappeared in the distance.
"Time doesn't exist to God, Miles!" Victoria calls. And just like that they were gone.
