Unfortunately, my grandmother thought that list was for everyone except her. I love my grandmother, she’s a hoot and a half. She’s not like the average grandmother, who bakes cookies and cupcakes, although she makes a killer pound cake. And she’s definitely not the prim and proper grandmother you find sitting on the porch in a rocking chair knitting and petting her miniature poodle. She’s more like your best girlfriend or that wild sorority sister that’s always up for a good time. Apparently, I wasn't clear about my birthday wishes, because my Nana, who happens to be dating a young man, got me an early birthday present in the form of a tall, dark, handsome man.
