It was impossible to outrun myself and, finally, beyond the brink of existential exhaustion, I stopped. Finally stopped indulging in self-destructive self-distraction and sought the truth. Finally decided to listen to what my soul had been whispering all along. I finally stopped and faced myself.

To put my energy into creating a life I no longer need to run from, and, if I must run at all, to create a life I want to run toward. To create a place where I can finally stop, rest, and be still, where once everything I’ve been running from catches up with me, we all have a safe space to land.
