Do you limit your book buying? • So recently I set up rules for myself😂 I can only buy a NEW book if I finish the last new book I bought. And I’m only allowed to go to Half Price Books- my favorite used book store, if I read three other old books on my shelves. So far I’ve been doing really well sticking to those rules! Do you prefer books with one point of view or multiple? • I like as many as the author can fit into the book 😂 Aurora Rising has seven(!!!) and I loved them all! This is such a fun book, it’s fast-paced, witty, intense, with some twisty moments that had me like 😱 and an ending that I didn’t see coming. What’s your favorite genre? • Mine is fantasy but I also love YA contemporary. You may have seen in my story the other day, but I loved @emerylord’s Open Road Summer, so I’m really excited for her next book, The Map From Here to There, that was gifted to me by @bloomsburypublishing. What’s a book you know you’ll love but you haven’t read yet? • Oh man, there are so many of these for me. All the books my friends who reeeeally know me have recommended, books by authors I love that I just haven’t read yet, and then ones that just sound exactly like something I’d love. Like this one! What was your favorite book you read in July? • Up until last night mine was Captain Marvel: Earth’s Mightiest Hero Vol 1, but then I finished The Nightjar and it blew me away! Absolutely one of my favorites now, and a book I would definitely read again! I’ll be doing a full review soon so watch out for that! • I really enjoyed all my reads this month, even though there weren’t many. I’ve wanted to try out Head Lopper for a long time and it didn’t let me down. Sorcery of Thorns tugged at my heartstrings. And The Adventure Zone: Here There Be Gerblins was a reread, but it was just as fun the second time.
