Bring back the REAL Batman
What makes me really angry about the claims about Batman not being a true hero is that they argue that he only became a hero so could get away with beating people up as a means of venting his feelings on others. This is not only wrong, you're actually describing his enemies.
Batman is motivated by heartache, but in a righteous way hence why he protects people, doesn't kill and has genuine compassion especially for other orphans. He became Batman to make a difference. Yes, he is traumatized, but he doesn't feed his demons.
The real problem is that writers who misunderstand Batman paint him that way when they are given a chance to write a Batman comic and in doing so, mess up and miss the mark. We need to stand up for the real Batman and call out writers who paint him in the wrong colours.
