The real JDM
unknown Kanjozoku-member:
Most of what's surfacing as "JDM" these days isn't truly JDM.
When you see something that's "JDM" and popular, you actually see a heavy USDM influence. This is because foreign fans took what they like from our style and incorporated that into their culture. That hybrid style is being brought back over to Japan where people here have begun to copy it. So what the young people are calling "JDM" here in Japan isn't truly JDM.
It's what I and the older generations before me created - that's the real JDM. The real JDM has been here all along. The Kanjo style hasn't changed. Kansai Osaka, the Kanjo. This right here is ground zero, where this culture was born.
Tough.
