I used to watch The Simpsons in syndication every day when I was teenager, then for some reason just stopped altogether. I might have just seen repeats so many times that I wore the experience out. I honestly haven't watched more than a few episodes since I was about 16, but I'm now finally revisiting. I got to an episode in season 8, one I had never seen before ("Lisa's Date with Density"), and was totally thrown off when Nelson starts singing this exact song. I had no clue Real Regular were taking from The Simpsons! It just sounds like the kind of song a Cleveland punk band would write!
