Fantastic news has arrived for fans of Australian rock band Methyl Ethel. Though it hasn’t been forever since the quartet dropped their sophomore album Everything Is Forgotten in 2017, these fellows are obviously glued to their craft, which we’re certainly grateful for, since this means a new album named Triage will arrive on February 15th via 4AD! With the news comes new single Real Tight, whose video was directed by Matt Sav. Methyl Ethel seems to go a dreamy smooth, synth twirling alt pop route on the fine preview off of the band’s third studio album. Their new album Triage is said to be a more reflective album compared to their first two albums. It explores the notion of coming of age, only to reference it for the snapshots and passing memories that it has become. A new North American tour kicks off in March 2019 that will bring the group to Cafe Du Nord in San Francisco on the 20th. Pre-order Triage, here. Wow,  February 2019  is shaping up to be a massive album release month! We are so excite!
