piglins mainly do trading through different droves bartering with each other by themselves, the hoards are there for bastion upkeep and keeping any of their personal valuables safe. im not entirely sure about the water thing, that's a really good question i'll have to figure out. BUT another fun thing is that droves are started by piglin lovers wanting to make a life for themselves and inviting friends and picking up piglets as they wander

thats so cool and neat! like "hey, u got any of those spectral arrows?" "you bet. got the gravel?" "right here" and the hoard piglins are trading also, but they have more gold than any of the rest of them. its like a rest stop. stay a couple days(?) and move on (the ? is because days are not measured in the nether)

im?? thats so wonderful,, imagine youre a little piglet and youre just walkin around and suddenly some person wearing gold comes up to you and gives you a golden carrot and pats your head and so you follow them to the end of the nether? and then several generations later, they just pick up piglins and keep walking, staying close, staying together and teaching them what theyve learned from so long ago, with the skill of potion brewing and of close range combat.

hihihihi i do so much thinking and worldbuilding about piglins lemme say some stuff! one: piglets are abandoned at a young age but are taken in by a different drove (group of piglins) later on in life. two: droves take care of piglets communally, everyone helps keep everyone fed and cared for. three: clean tusks and long manes are attractive, manes because they're able to exist without the mane being an issue. if u want more i can say more

is there like. communication between the droves? like trading and just mingling in general before traveling off in their different directions? they seem like the kind of creatures to live nomadic/migratory lives, though migrating to/from What, i dont know.

piglins are nomadic! droves usually travel between different bastions, which are trading hubs! only about 10 piglins live in a bastion at a time, and these are called the hoards of bastions. bastions are places of peace, so physical arguments aren't allowed. however, passive aggressive comments happen often

trading hubs for the piglins!! and residential bastion-keepers!! do they keep inventory of the different trades going on so that some droves can leave their wares and a comission fee (of gold, of course) and come back later, or is it more of a they go, they see, the trade, they leave? :o

i love piglins having water on them at all times (they trade them with us), but how do they collect it? do they filter it through gravel? do they filter it through soul sand?

oooh im so happy to recieve more of the piglin headcanons !!
