1) Werewolves known and considered royalty. Stiles is an orphan at one of the Hale Pack houses and literally runs into Derek on the street, who is his mate. But Derek wants to protect him, so he puts him right back in the orphanage Stiles ran from because they’re abusive/etc. The bad humans could lie to werewolves because they had pacemakers. Laura remembered a visit to that orphanage because Stiles led them in a rendition of “food glorious food” from Oliver and she thought it was a planned show but it wasn’t.
2) The one where Jackson and Derek are in the army and Harris, trying to get Stiles to shape up, has him write letters to a random army guy. Lydia does too, and that’s how she/Jackson and Stiles/Derek meet. Lydia starts making food with seasonal candies for Jackson, like heart-shaped stuff for Valentines, and makes Stiles send some to Derek.
