It’d been...a day, to put it lightly and Vicki wasn’t sure where else to go. Juliet had naturally come to mind. Cici hadn’t particularly been a kill she cared that much about, if she were totally honest. Mickey was the one who pointed out the similarity in her name to Casey Becker and how it would be perfect for their ‘movie’. Vicki, after some arguing, agreed with him and went along with it. He’d done the actual work with Cici and while she provided a welcome distraction, Vicki had pursued Sidney herself.
Of course, like Sidney had so many times before, got away from Vicki and left her a little worse for wear but ultimately alive. A small spatter of blood coated her cheek, more on the knife she’d badly hidden in her back pocket when she had to escape the crime scene. There was only one place, one woman she could think of to run to lay low. It was probably unfair of her to involve her in this but it wasn’t like Juliet was...totally innocent herself. At least that was what Vicki had picked up on, granted there was a world of difference between truly being a murderer and just being a little off your rocker.
So, when she arrived at the woman’s house, blood on her, weapon still on her, it was blatantly obvious that Juliet was distressed from the get go. While Vicki was trying to get a cigarette to light up, hands still gently trembling from the sheer adrenaline, Juliet called to her softly. She peeks up at her from the corner of her eyes before fully turning her head to look at her as she requested. In spite of the smile she offers her, her eyes are dead, void of emotion or light.
“I’m fine, Julie.” Was it a lie? Vicki couldn’t even tell anymore.
