„A man‘s got to do what a man‘s got to do“ - John Wayne This man, Rod Walker, is „un héroe silencioso“ (a silent hero) and has been an inspiration for environmental consciousness for more than 25 years in Chile. An unforgettable and highly spiritual excursion through the araucaria forests brought us together in the early 90s. It is an honour for me to meet him again in his „El Cañi“ near Pucon with my family. A master in Reiki, a meteorologist, Dozent in university, mountain instructor, father of early ecotourism, loving dad, hermit.... he‘s dedicated his life to nature. We are impressed how much one can live accordingly to his words. Rod has been and still is a true influencer for people in Chile and around the world. His thoughts and words are free of contamination and kidnapped us to another level of thinking. If we can only hold some of his thoughts forever in our minds .
