Aaand after a month of inactivity, I’m back for the @sts-shippingfest, because it’s SHUN/JUNE WEEK EVERYBODY! *cheers*

There was a post once (which for the life of me I can’t seem to be able to re-locate in the hauntingly deep recesses of my blog) saying that it would be awesome to see a realistic Shun and June together - the thought pestered me for months and now I found the inspiration to actually do it!

So here you have it, my first attempt at realistically Japanese!Shun and my old design of realistically Ethiopian!June, being the cutest couple of the planet in civilian clothes.

And yes, June is actually more muscular than Shun. Fight me.

I may or may not have a crush on June’s braids. Just sayin’.

Part nine: Aiolos aka the cinnamon roll!

Like Aiolia (obviously) he’s a Greek from Argos. His face is similar to his little brother’s but has less sharp traits - slightly thinner lips, softer jawline, dimples, a nose that cries for a ‘beep’...

He has a tanned skin, chocolate brown curly hair and sky blue eyes. He’s cute. :3

Part six: Shaka.

Forget the blue-eyed-fair-skinned-blondie Kurumada showed you. Imo, he looks far better with real Indian looks. Dark chocolate-y skin, straight almost black hair and (to keep the BAM! effect of his eyes opening) light hazel eyes. Also I’m so proud of how his nose has come out. I don’t know how to describe its shape in English, but to me that’s the epitome of an Indian nose. u_u

Sorry for the quality of the scanning on the higher part...

So, new series of coloured sketches/studies. I wanted to challenge myself with drawing super-realistic faces and obviously my favourite guinea pigs are the Gold Saints. The pattern is front, profile and three-quarters. First one is, as the order wants, Mu.

He’s supposed to come from Tibet (ok, Jamir doesn’t exist, but it resembles the Himalaya region so much that everyone goes for Tibet and so do I), so he should have the typical face structures of Tibetans - almond-shaped eyes, strong cheekbones, and so on. But since he’s also a Lemurian, a population of an extinct continent, the things are, supposedly, complicated by this... to put myself at peace, I decided to draw him with a typical Tibetan face (in the best of my abilities) but with a creative colouring instead of the expected bronze skin-black eyes-black hair combination. For Mu, I usually go for the anime colouring, since I don’t like him as a blond. So, light rosy skin, emerald green eyes and violet hair - darker than the anime’s, it looks better imo. Oh, the dots on the forehead to me coincide with the eyebrows in Lemurians.
