People.
When things happen in your life that are out of your control, do you feel that the appropriate remedy is to thus try and control other things/people? If a bunch of shit happened to you, and you feel like shit, how can you not realize that your 'solution' of control makes other people feel like shit in turn? Do you think that because someone fucked with you that it's okay to fuck with others who have done nothing to you that any normal human wouldn't do, and who have nothing to do with the original person who was the catalyst?
This has nothing to do with me personally, I'm just a little aggravated over a situation one of my closest friends is in. There's nothing I can really do aside from offer my support and stand by them, but after finding out that they feel a lot of their recent hard work ended up seeming meaningless to people who I now consider friends as well, because of the actions of the previously alluded-to person, I feel it's okay to rant about it a little.
I'm not going to go into any details whatsoever, for the sake of having a brain, but, this person does so much for everyone around them and I think most of their friends fail to see it. And said person realizes that. They aren't looking for attention or to be put on a pedestal, they are just trying to be a reasonable human being but the other party is out to lunch. Most people aren't going to realize all they owe to this person until they're gone (as in relocated, not dead), or until they end up on the wrong side of this situation and burn the wrong bridges. That's it. I didn't really articulate all the meaning I wanted to write in this, but that's fine. This was more for me than anyone else. And now that I've gotten that out of my system, perhaps it's time to continue to layout lyrical and musical themes for my new band. For now: Playlist: Column of Heaven - Mission from God / Soldiers' Field Godstopper - Empty Crawlspace / Everybody Writes Good Songs Radioactive Vomit - Witchblood Reading: John Armstrong - Guilty of Everything Robert Graves - The Greek Myths: 2
