Mermaids were a curious thing - beautiful yet hideously ugly, sweet as pie yet black of soul, smart yet dumber than a tack. Bera needed the vocal cords of a Mermaid for a a shape shifting spell, so she ventured to the rocky cliff side bay of the West. The sand crunched beneath her feet as she took long strides, her head raised high and a smug smile tugging at her lips. Her hands swayed gently at her side, as the slaughtered fish left dots of red blood against the white beneath her feet. A sweet tune escaped her lips as she hummed to herself, throwing the fish into the ocean to let the waves lap at them. Their lives blood left with each receding wave, taking their scent into the water. "Come to me, you sickly hybrids." Bera hissed to herself, hoping he bait would attract the things she needed for her spell.
