I think I'll call this piece "Decisions, Decisions"... 🦋 Really though these are the latest bin my Ravelry queue all at different stages of #notevenclosetodone 🤣, minus some I don't behave yarn for or haven't officially started. 🦋 Some people are overwhelmed by this sight, but for the special relationship I, my Muse, & my ADHD have it's heaven...because there are options. To suit my mood, to suit my concentration level, to work on for short bursts or great lengths. 🦋 For me options are EVERYTHING because I can't stand to be restricted...of course don't get me wrong I love structure & frameworks, they give solidity to the play so it doesn't go off the rails constantly. It's easy to get wrapped up in trying to progress...to move forward...to elevate. So much so that one loses track of the journey, of the process by which these things happen. Everything always happens one step at a time. Sometimes these steps are in fast succession, other times they are drawn out. Things ever take the time that they will take and it is our job merely to go through the process as we can, how we can. Do not worry about the state of your work, where you are in the process, or how fast you get there. Show up & do the work and things will unfold as you do. Knitting skills activate! Spent the first part of my morning translating a Russian knitting pattern with the help of a chart, translation app, & a visual understanding of what various knitting stitches look like. .
