Shadows
That feeling you get where you’re just so happy and chatty being with friends, hearing those giggles you make, breathing it all in. But when you’re all alone in your room you notice how lonely you’ve become for past years, sulking and weeping, faking every thing to get by. Just to make things easier for every one, to make them stop asking or wonder why.
But when you lay in your bed, looking at the ceiling with nothing but darkness and shadows; eating what’s left of you, hearing nothing but the echoes of the past that haunts you down, stabbed you, kicked you slapped you the reality that everything’s messed up. You let one guy mess everything up. You let one guy change your views in life. You let one guy took every genuine smile, giggle and laughter you can and will make. You let one guy win your heart, take it with him and tear it right before your very eyes like its a fail made origami who just lost its value. And then someone knocked on your door and you snapped. Realizing there were tears on your cheek, small sobs escaping your mouth and you “can’t breathe”. Your father opened the door looking at you quizzically and all you can say was…
"I was reading a book and the girl who love this guy with all her might and heart died on the last chapter."
he then taps you on the shoulder and said
"Its all in the book baby." And he walks away closing the door behind him.
You sigh and took a deep breath thinking… if its all in the book then why am I feeling like I just died a million deaths.
