Dear men,

Sometimes when the person you're with call, or texts, you because they're feeling like crap, or in pain, or they're just plain sad, the best course of action is to be sympathetic and listen. Being supportive is super easy! It is not, usually, a good idea to turn it around on yourself, and throw a hissy fit because your significant other doesn't want you to drop everything to come "take care" of them. They're full grown. They can handle it. Maybe they just wanted to vent. Maybe they won't do that anymore.

PS. Not everything is about you.
