Now a days it seems like everyone just trying to one up each other. VIP meets, get togethers and shows were so different back then. We all got together and helped one another. I've had this car for 20 years now. You can tell the true enthusiast by how they appreciate and original build. There are the enthusiasts that only do it for "what gets them the most attention" and you can weed them out by them saying , why show it it's old, "you need to change it up and get with the times". I just laugh and tell them no thank you, watch them get their trophy congratulate them then see their car next year with stuff bolted on that is trending that year. Maybe I'm old ?
