She'd almost called him something else, and Cyno could hear it in that pause. Even his mind had filled in the blank - exactly with Lisa's voice, too. It hadn't changed at all - in a way believable enough to summon a mild sense of fluster regardless, which the young man pushed down with a clear of his throat.
"If only Mondstadt was close enough to make that a habit." He sighed quietly, letting his eyes space over the cozy, warm-looking shelves that covered every wall and nook of the library of which his former senior was now the custodian. He tried to picture her daily life around here. What did Lisa do, all alone with her thoughts now? He'd never seen it work.
"To be honest, these days I get to see the library only for work-related matters anyway. With the Terminals out of service, everyone is relying on books again. And with that, issues previously gone unnoticed are coming to the surface. Vandalized pictures... torn pages..."
A pause, in which Cyno crossed his arms over his chest. His eyes still avoiding hers.
"Books gone completely missing, too."
