To come to our holiday home we need to cross the #furkapass but in December that's impossible. Instead we take the #road to #Realp to bord the auto train to #oberwald. #DFB1 ready to leave Gletsch back to #Realp on the other side of the #furkapass. #steamlocomotive This old #locomotiv was at the beginning part of the #glacierexpress but after a while #electric #locomotives took over. 1981 closed the #furka #bergstrecke. Now the old locs who had been in Vietnam är back home in Switzerland and restored.
