Do you ever just feel so alone in the middle of the night? Lamp is burning bright, wasting power, but it's not that you're afraid of the night just the shadows who lurk within? Ones who wear smiles and tell you you're nothing Ones who laugh and trip you like schoolyard bullies Ones that snarl and howl at how you lost it Ones that move just a bit closer just a bit closer... telling you that you should've held it in. shoulda just drowned it out. shoulda just smiled and been civil. shoulda shoulda shoulda ...
