Hey! There you get a prompt: A cooked something for B, but it turned out horrible since A can't cook at all. But B doesn't want to hurt A's feelings... (Any charas you can think of, just go wild :D)

Give me two characters and a one-sentence prompt and I’ll write 1-4 paragraphs for the request. 

Ed stared down athis food, slowly nudging it with his fork. He wasn’t entirely surehow it was possible to fuck up dinner this bad, but what Greed put infront of him reminded him of the slop farmers fed to their pigs. Thesauce had an odd, grayish hue to it and smelled like the bottom of agarbage bin. There were weird lumps in the sauce that Ed suspected tobe meat (or maybe even flour), but he couldn’t be entirely sure.

“Something wrong?”Greed asked as he settled in the seat catty-corner to Ed.

Ed tore his eyesaway from the food and onto Greed. Oh no. Greed had the same look onhis face he got whenever he did something good, something to be proudof. He felt like some poor animal caught in the headlights of a car.Ed tugged at his bottom lip with his teeth while he debated on whatto do. He couldn’t exactly lie to Greed yet blunt honesty feltwrong. Harsh even.

If he could eat hisleather boot with Ling a few years back, then he could choke thisdown.

“Why wouldsomething be wrong?” Ed took a bite, and his head jerked forward alittle as his mouth tried to reject the mushy texture and nastyflavor. “’S’fine.” He hastily took another bite and chewed itas fast as he could. It wasn’t fine. Nothing about this was fine.

He never consideredhimself a picky eater nor was he a gagger, but this tasted awful, andit took all his willpower not to make choking sounds. He gave a weaksmile of encouragement and shoveled in another bite.

Greed grinned,clearly pleased with himself, then took a bite. Ed carefully watchedas the grin disappeared and turned into disgust. His lips twitched ashe tried to hold back a smile when Greed leaned back as if the foodoffended him.

“Damn, this tastelike shit.” Greed dropped his fork onto the table, grabbed hisplate, leaned as far back in his seat that he could, and dumped thefood in the garbage can. “How the fuck are you eating it?” heasked Ed incredulously.

Ed’s eyes got alittle wide and he snickered before laughter bubbled up inside ofhim. He leaned back in his chair with his hands on his stomach andeyes closed, and let it go.

Greed’s eyessoftened, and he felt something inside him squeeze. Whenever Edlaughed like that—so carefree and happy like nothing elsemattered—emotion would overwhelm him. Ed’s smile could light upthe darkest of days, and his laugh chase away the stormiest ofclouds.

Ed reminded him ofthe sun; his very own Goldilocks who radiated light and heat andpassion in the perfect blend, and Greed wanted to be his ‘justright’. It felt like he had been bathed in a golden halo thattouched him to his very core and it burned. If he had had aheart it would have beat faster, but instead his stone pulsated, andall he felt was desire and something else, something deeper thatthreatened to swallow him whole.

He never knewwhether he wanted to laugh or cry whenever this happened. Or possiblyboth. Instead, he gave Ed a crooked smile. “I didn’t bother withthe recipe.” He tipped his chair back again and put his handsbehind his head. “Too damned long to fuss over.”

“No shit,“ Edsaid as his laughter died down. “Maybe you should stick to makingbreakfast.” Because, Greed cooked one hell of a mean breakfast, andEd couldn’t get enough of it.

His smiled turnedcocky. “Or maybe I should stick to eating something delicious likeyou and let you do the cooking.”

Ed’s cheeksflushed but a small smile spread across his lips. “You make mebreakfast every morning,” He stood up and dumped the food in thetrash, “and you can eat whatever deliciousness on me you want.”

“How ‘bout Ihave some of it now, then I take you for dinner?"Greed reachedhis hand out to touch Ed’s thigh.

"Nope,” Edgrinned and grabbed his coat. “Gotta feed me first,” he said,dodging the touch so he could slip on out the door, knowing thatGreed would be close behind him.

Fma Series: Falling Between the Lines: post canon fan fic.

Pairings: Roy/Ed/Roy

“It's suit and tie.” Roy stopped reading and glanced up at Ed. “Oh, and don't forget to bring a date with you,” he added before turning his attention back to his book.

“Why the hell would I bring a date? The dressing up part I can manage, but I'll probably just show up alone.” Ed gave Roy the best crabby look he could muster and set his book down. The casualness of Roy's tone suggested the topic was anything but.

“Why wouldn't you? An event like this is often long and boring. I'll be tied up pretending I like most of the people there and making polite conversation. It makes sense you'd want to bring a date to keep yourself occupied.” Roy took his glasses off and set his book down on the end table. “I'm sorry but I thought you didn't want other people to know about us and would want to go with someone else. Bringing a date is a wonderful way to—”

“You’re an idiot. I’ve met fucking smarter cows than you.” Ed glared at Roy or at least tried to. Glaring at Roy Mustang in itself was an art form--one he had practiced many times over the years. Somehow instead of getting easier to do, it had gotten harder. “How the fuck could you think I’d want to go with anyone else?”

Roy simply sat there, his fingers twitching. Ed wasn’t sure if they twitched because of the insult or if Roy was currently trying to dig in that thick skull of his for some kind of reasonable explanation. Or worse: some kind of ridiculous counter argument. 

That was okay. Ed had prepared himself for a battle as soon as Roy had opened his mouth and vomited out the stupid suggestion. "What? You're not gonna say anything?" He at least expected Roy to argue the sandwich comment. "You're not gonna insist that you're not only smarter than most sandwiches but also the most badass Alchemist around?" Ed paused for a moment. "Outside of Al or course." 

"Oh, absolutely. Alphonse is definitely the best there is." Roy smiled, sincerely, and it kind of freaked Ed out. 

"That's it?" Ed scrunched up his nose and furrowed his brows. "Okay, fess up... why're you being so nice?"

"Ed..." Roy began and then exhaled a long sigh. "I know that going to this event with a separate person doesn't sit well with you, but we cannot go as a couple if we're not ready for other people to know about us." He turned his head away and looked out his living room window. "I'll go alone as I always do, and you bring a date or Alphonse."

"Al's probably busy. I don't want to interrupt his day because this city is filled with assholes who might shit a brick if they found out Roy Mustang was dating a man." It wasn't much of a counter argument because Roy had promised he could take care of that problem. Ed just couldn't see how making their relationship public would benefit Roy. "I don't get why it's a big deal if I come alone like I have before."

"This is a Ball, Edward. People are generally expected to come with a date. You and Alphonse are young, and you're brothers so the two of you could get away with showing up together under the pretense that you're looking to meet someone," Roy explained. 

"Why do you get to go alone?" Ed slunk down in his seat. "It shouldn't be a big deal. Not everyone in Central City is shacked up. Why can't I show up as a friend supporting your fundraiser?" 

Roy covered his face with his hand and peaked at Ed through a crack in his fingers. "Because as far as most people know I'm single. I never show up to events with dates, and they know that so to do so would be suspicious, soon followed by expectations." Expectations that he had finally decided to settle down and stop playing the part of Central's most eligible bachelor. "No one expects you or Al to settle down yet and get married." 

"Still don't see how it's anyone else's business what you're doing on your own time." Ed knew why they hadn't gone public yet. Hell it had been his idea, but that didn't mean he wanted to pretend like he was interested in other people.

He could bring Al. Ed had already considered asking Alphonse if he wanted to go. He should be back from Xing in time and seemed to like events like this. Ed personally hated them, but this was important to Roy. Fuck if he was going to miss the rotten old bastard's fundraiser even if he had been given multiple outs, including this one. 

Ed would be damned if he'd go with a fake date either, and he'd never ask Winry to do it for him. Even if they went on the pretense of friends, which probably wouldn't raise any eyebrows, the fact that they were together and engaged made the whole idea feel awful to him. 

With the way Roy was acting, Ed knew he could do whatever he wanted. If they were outed, Roy would care less about it than he did. He couldn't let it go, though. Not yet anyway. "Fine, I'll ask Al and we'll see what happens." 

Roy almost seemed disappointed, though Ed admitted it could've been a trick of the eyes. Sometimes he was too paranoid Roy had an ulterior motive behind everything he did. That didn't stop him from staring a little harder than necessary just to make sure. 

"I think that's a fantastic idea, Ed," Roy finally said. "In fact, it's perfect. I'm sure you both will be the hit of the Ball." 

Ed's mood soured even more. "Hey, now... I'm not goin' there to be the 'hit at the party' or whatever bullshit people concoct in their heads. I'm going for you. That's all. "

"I realize that, and as much as I'd love to argue that you're not obligated to go to these dreadfully boring events, I appreciate having you there." Roy moved a couple inches closer to Ed. They still had the entire middle of the couch separating them. That was something he'd need to correct soon. "I already agreed we'd keep our relationship quiet, and my suggestion was only an attempt to help." 

"Even though you don't agree with it?" Weren't most people supposed to put up more of a fight about stuff they didn't want to do? "We'll just do it and see how it goes? There's not any part of you that secretly hopes this'll fail and then you'll be allowed to parade me around the city like in some ridiculous romance novel?" 

"Your under appreciation for the fine art of romance is appalling." Roy shook his head in mock sadness. "It saddens my heart that I have so much more to teach you about the romantic ways of life." 

"It's not art. You only use that as an excuse to get extra sappy on me, that's all," Ed grumpily countered. Roy grinned, and in the moment, Ed was pretty sure he was in deep. That boyish grin undid him each and every time. Roy could've asked for his soul, and he would have eagerly agreed. 

"Come now, you love it when I get sappy on you," Roy's grin became slightly smug. "Among other things.." 

"Can it, you smug, bastard." Ed snapped out of his daze. He pulled his feet up onto the couch and tucked them underneath himself. "We both know you're trying to change the subject."

Roy scooted a couple more inches closer. Then the couch shifted when he moved all way down to the other end. He pulled Ed half into his lap and sighed. He definitely preferred this over the space between them. Roy wrapped his arms around Ed's waist.

"Ed, you should know by now that most ideas involving hidden romances are bad ideas." Roy hugged Ed tighter. "They'll find out eventually, and when they do, I'll be ready and so will you." 

He knew it was true, but Ed didn't want to admit to it yet. At least not out loud. That somehow made the inevitable feel more real. Once he said it, he couldn't take it back so he wouldn't say it. "I still think you're trying to prove a point, but I’m too comfortable to argue with you so I'll let it slide... this time."

“Hmm, agreed.” Roy held back a chuckle and hid his smile into Ed’s shoulder.

They’d try it Ed’s way for now, though he wondered how long they could manage to make it last. Those were thoughts he’d revisit later. Now, he intended to enjoy a quiet evening with Ed.

3. What is your absolute favorite kind of fic to write?

I already answered this one for Lohry so going to do a copy/paste.

Humor and dark fiction. those are my favs and cannot choose between the two, tho I enjoy writing a lot of other kinds of stories like action/adventure or realistic relationship type fics.

6. First fic/pairing you wrote for? (If no pairing, describe the plot) 

I did come up with a pairing XD

tbf, I mostly write pairing-centric fan fic My first fan fic I ever wrote was Absence, and that was prequel to SasuNaruSasu (see how far you made me dig back into my memory). while they weren’t together in that fic, they both had feelings for each other, and the sequel that never was, would have been with them together.

Absence took place in canon and broke away I think when Team Kakashi was looking for Sasuke after he decided to lurk around with Oro to be experimented on.

Don’t take my word on that 100% because that was over 9 years ago so yeah... a little fuzzy on the details, but you were interested in plot so I wanted to give you something <3

15. Your guilty writing pleasure?   

this one is hard to figure out. I mean, there’s a lot of stuff I write that focuses on rare pairings, but dunno if those count as a guilty pleasure because there is no guilt here XD if it does count, then currently (because this changes over time) it’s the Ed and Greed stuff I’m diddling.

I do like to write about serial killers and murderous bastards and death, and that one probably does count since it fits the ‘not held in high regard’ part (because there’s still zero guilt on my end over murderous fiction). been asked plenty of times over the years about the hows or whys and idk? I could make a long list of suspicions or maybe because I’m fucked in the head but idrc ^^
