Real Thaw 2016
The Portuguese Air Force will hold, between February 21 and March 4, the annual exercise “REAL THAW 2016” (RT16).
This exercise will involve the Armed Forces and even forces of Belgium, Denmark, Spain, the United States, the Netherlands and even of aircraft of NATO, which will be based at Air Base 11 in Beja, being its actions planned for the inside center / North Portugal.
As the financial year of the Air Force, the REAL THAW aims to assess and ensure its operational capacity, providing training, qualification and readying the various units, perspetivando a possible deployment of forces in Operation Theatre.
