PROCESS || PROCESO My loves, I've been in a storm of #transformation the last few months & what a ride it's been. Every day I'm clueless as to what the next step will bring, more #conscious of that #unknown than ever before. And even in the midst of a very painful healing, I got a chance to show up as the #warrior that I am & I tell ya the #magic that ensued after was beyond belief. There's a lot of new good stuff coming your way, offerings, rituals, honest chats so do stay tuned. And know that no matter what your current #process is asking of you it's all good. SPRING || PRIMAVERA To see shoots springing up against the #Mediterranean is quite spectacular. The sun warms so quickly. The air is still cool. The evenings chilly & there's possibility all around. It's been a mix this week. Possible homes but nothing quite certain. Love laughter & company with good friends. Anxiety sadness & fears on my own. Today I'm missing home. I'm missing my Love, my friends, my #London. I'm missing being in a place where i don't need to think that much to know where to go or what to do when I'm feeling alone. I'm missing my London family & wishing I could just hang out there for the weekend. I'm also so grateful because I'm living a life of pure #abundance though it looks nothing like I'd thought. #consciousliving at its best. It's not easy being the one who takes risks, leaping into the unknown. Majority of the world lives in the safety of what's known. So as I sit with this sadness & homesickness I know underneath I'm being led by a force greater than myself: love. 🌟🌟🌟 Ver el principio de primavera en frente del #mediterraneo es algo más que especial. El sol calienta rápido. El aire aun es frescito. Las noches también y hay posibilidad por todas partes. Ha sido una semana mezclada. Posiblilidades de una casa pero nada cierto. Amore risa y compania con buenos amigos. Ansiedad tristeza y miedos conmigo misma. Hoy añoro mi casa. Añoro mi amor, mis amigos, mi #Londres. Añoro estar en un sitio donde no hace falta pensar tanto por saber por donde ir o que hacer cuándo me siento sola. Añoro mi familia Londinense deseando que pudiera pasar el fin de ahi. TAKE APART

Allowing children to use REAL tools at our Take Apart Station sends the message that they are capable of "real work.". Using broken appliances as learning tools is great scaffolding activity as well. Children can be encouraged to draw the insides of these machines, speculate as to what the removed parts do, and discover the best tool for the job at hand. Young children have rich and insightful theories and questions, and they can conduct research through their work. They are truly, natural-born scientists.As part of our emergent 'Robot' curriculum, we have been taking apart, and studying the insides of tape recorders and players, CD/DVD players and CD/DVD drives, boomboxes,talking toys, remote controlled or motorized toys. We also notice the children's improved manual dexterity with tools through the disassembly of these small appliances.

Simple, safe and fun things to take apart

  remote controls, Walkmans (blast from the past), household fans, telephones, computer keyboards, children's toys with batteries, small speakers, clocks, blenders, coffee makers,  DVD players, VCR player, radio, computers, laptops, and cell phones.

*Please make sure the item you are taking apart is safe (i.e. No glass, power cord cut off) and always done with adult supervision!
