HI EVERYONE!

This is just to let everyone know that me and a few friends will be watching all three series of Hannibal in one sitting to raise money for Macmillan cancer support. We’ll be live-tweeting, hopefully live streaming, and raising money for charity all at the same time! 

If our Fannibal family could share and/or donate to our cause, that would be really AMAZING!

WOW I’m sorry I’m such a slow responder omg.

Ok so yeah I’m just real upset about bi jake and his exposure to this awful idea that “oh well you’re only like /that/ because you lacked a strong male role model!” And god, Jake’s dad leaving already fucks with him on so many levels, I don’t want to /think/ about how it’s affected his own sense of identity and his past relationships with men.

Like I think consciously, Jake knows that it’s bullshit, just like he may consciously know that a grown man abandoning his wife and young child is not the /fault/ of that young child, but…I mean, consciously knowing something doesn’t make that little voice in the back of your head shut up.

Guh okay I’m like on the bus to work right now and this probably doesn’t make too much sense but I just want Jake to be happy ok.

LITERALLY do not even get me started on what a validating experience Holt’s presence in his life would have been.

I can't believe the wank you're getting for your Dr Strange posts. People seem to forget that even if he was completely snow white in the comics (which he isn't) that doesn't mean he should have to be white in the film!! Racial diversity and all that!!! Nick Fury was white in the comics until Samuel L Jackson played him in the films. Comic canon is fluid - and there's loads of different 'verses! Are these people saying that they can't imagine a single one in which Dr Strange isn't white?
