The smartArt Open house was a success. The students were able demonstrate the skills they acquired and mastered over the six weeks. They created a dish from scratch independently and served the meal to the attendees of the open house.

We are nearing the end of the DC DOES @mbsyep. This Friday, our #MBSYEP2015 interns will be showcasing the mobile and web #apps they developed as well as give persuasive speeches, demonstrate mastery of culinary skills, and showcase their visual and literary art creations. Afterwards, we will close out with @DaOriginalz who will facilitate a workshop that enables interns to produce and act out skits that show the importance of decision making, and how daily decisions affect the outcome of various situations in life through dance. @hopedealing can't think of a better way to become #WorkReady. #DCProud #RealWorldInterns #21stcenturyskills #districtoflearning (at Martha's Table)
