Imperare Main Cast: Reaper and Life
Perhaps not "main cast", but they're still important enough to get their own sheet. I'm also switching up how I present these and trying something new because truthfully, I really don't like how the current ones look. My plan is to finish last these three in the new style, and then go back and redraw the old ones.
Extra Notes/backstory:
In this AU, the multiverse hiarchy works like this: - Regular AU citizens < Outcodes < Guardians < Gods < The Creators
Because of this, when the first AUs were facing "Code Purples" and corrupting over, the gods did not suspect there was anything they needed to be involved in. The Guardians have their own work to do and the gods don't get involved with their drama. Dream can handle Nightmare's issues.
However, Nightmare's constant corruption of AUs and everyone inside exhausted Grim (Papyrus) and Reaper. So many souls were dying before they were supposed to at too fast of a speed and in the same manner, if they even died.
It wasn't until the death of Fresh, current Guardian of Creativity since this was when he replaced Ink, was murdered by Nightmare did Reaper start paying closer attention to what was happening. He reaped his soul and realized both the Creativity/Destruction balance and Positivity/Negativity balance were shifting badly. Reaper knew Nightmare was involved in Ink's disapperance too, he just didn't know what or how besides not killing him.
Life helped these infected souls recover and she was just as sick of watching her subjects die so horribly like this. She visited an infected AU to help the people there and attempt to purify them of their illnesses, but this goes horribly wrong as she's attacked by a dozen zombies. She fends them off and escapes back to Reapertale, then soon falls ill herself. Then she starts attacking and infecting other minor gods, causing the plague to spread until she's captured and contained.
The Reapertale gods are partially immune (really need to make that immunity chart) due to their sheer power, but they're not fully immune because their souls are still whole, unlike a glitch.
This was the final straw for Reaper. Reapertale Soriel is canon in Imperare. They have a very close marriage and Reaper hated watching the love of his life be in this much pain, unable to control her body, and losing her idenitiy. She even ends up trying to attack him.
The gods get furious as they realize what's happening and see the plague spread across the multiverse with no sign of stopping. Lord Sky and Athena (Asgore and Undyne) want to fight Nightmare. Reaper offers to go in their place as he is the most aware of who Nightmare is and how he thinks. And he finds it a lot more personal as he is always the one cleaning up Nightmare's work. Reluctantly, the gods agree.
Reaper has not been seen since entering NIghtmare's castle, 7 years ago.
The other gods went missing not long after . . .
Reapertale has collapsed.
some sketches of death with a bit of life, I like to head cannon he floats around often so he doesn't feel to short compared to the beautiful goddess of life.
May or may not post my own versions of there design later...
I don't know a thing about ReaperTale(gonna fix this soon)
But I love the idea of Reaper!Sans, Reaper!Toriel and Geno being in poly relationships

MULTIVERSAL MAY - DAY 19 REAPERTALE SANS AND TORIEL

(I love this two so much, I hope they stay together until the end of the time and have a happy family, or a at least a wedding)
I forgot to post here yesterday thehehe... Anyways Day 19 drawing, I wanted to draw ReaperTale Toriel alone at first, because I love so much his clothes and design, but then when searching references I found this cómic made by Renrink itself (The owner of ReaperTale AU), of her and Sans and this crystal flower she made for him because he can't touch for the dead touch, and It was so cuteeee, and I just need to reference that I my drawing. So He's watching her cook.
This also remembers me that back in the days when the fandom was divide in Soriel or Frans (A very problematic shipp, we all know why) this AU was one of my favorites because the relationship in between Toriel and Sans and the awesome lore of ReaperTale itself. (Fully recommend ReaperTale's original comic)
