PHYSICAL APPEARANCE

Physical traits: Shrike is a fairly short, thin humanoid with two sets of eyes on his face and a small ‘crown’ of them floating around his head. He has a pair of glossy black wings that are narrow and built for speed. His hair is short and the same shade of black as his wings, though sadly less glossy. Secretary is a fairly tall, muscular humanoid. She has large, long white wings meant for soaring similar to an albatross. Her hair is shoulder-length and black. She additionally is equipped with sharp, durable claws.

Clothing style: Shrike prefers comfortable clothes that cover most of his body. He typically wears sweaters or hoodies and slacks, as well as his cloak. He only wears his cloak, which is black and embroidered with angular brown branches, on formal occasions. He occasionally wears small earrings. Secretary prefers formal wear, often consisting of a white button up with corsets and dress pants. She also often wears combat boots. She rarely wears earrings, and typically only does so for special events. She uses a cane that is also a decorative scythe.

Notable behaviors: Shrike tends to gravitate towards items and people that he can hide behind. He also has a tendency to slouch. Secretary has inhumanly good posture, on the other hand. On particularly good days for her bad leg, she will walk on her toes.

PERSONALITY

Personality Summary: Shrike is a very socially nervous and awkward fellow who largely prefers to not be acknowledged. He is also extremely vicious when a situation requires combat, and knows no mercy for enemies of Death. The best way for you to get him to talk is by talking about his wife. Secretary is a very confident and calm woman who greatly prefers working as office management to anything out in the field. She excels at multitasking, and actually much prefers to have multiple tasks on hand.

Behavior in formal settings: Shrike can be present and interact with people if absolutely necessary, but he'd rather be in the fringes of any sort of gathering or meeting. Secretary, meanwhile, commands the formal space with her presence; she seems to know just what to do and say in such situations.

Behavior in informal settings: If sufficiently relaxed, Shrike may be willing to open up to small groups… maybe. Good luck catching Secretary in any type of informal setting, but when she does allow herself the treat, it's often with her arms and wings enveloping Shrike.

Aspirations: Shrike is admittedly quite content with his life at large. Secretary, meanwhile, likes to envision a carefully curated process of death that requires little oversight from management, instead of the many errors that managing once-living souls often incurs.

Fears: Shrike’s greatest fear is losing Secretary in some way - be that separation, permanent death, or otherwise. Secretary likewise fears losing Shrike, but much more specifically, she fears losing him in his line of work.

Likes: Shrike enjoys, more than anything, laying in a cozy bed with weighted blankets. More generally, he is fond of being confined or surrounded. He also has a sadistic fondness for watching people bleed out, especially if they're still impaled upon his glaive. Secretary likes jewelry, despite rarely wearing it - it's something she collects. She is also extremely fond of an organized space, but far less fond of the actual activity of organizing. She doesn't like threatening people - but she prides herself in knowing that she can take most reapers in a fight with relative ease.

Dislikes: Shrike and Secretary both absolutely hate loud noises and bright lights, albeit for slightly different reasons. Shrike doesn't like being acknowledged, and hates when people underestimate Secretary because she's a secretarial reaper. Secretary dislikes weapons in the office

OSPREY - Male Specialist Reaper.

PHYSICAL APPEARANCE

Physical traits: Osprey’s true form is remniscent of a biblical seraphim, a mass of wings and eyes. He has six pairs of wings of various size, all light grey except for golden feather shafts, each sprouting from a central eye. Floating around his central body he has four additional pairs of eyes. He doesn’t always have limbs, but he is capable of manifesting them as needed. Typically he sticks to merely summoning hands.

Clothing style: Being that he isn’t at all humanoid, he does not typically wear clothes. For important events he may accessorize with chains like necklaces or bracelets along his wings.

Notable behaviors: Unlike specialist reapers that were once human, he will never have hands or additional limbs except for when he is using them. He also will not manifest them in pairs, which is a behavior natural to most specialist reapers.

Reaper weapon: Rapier.

PERSONALITY

Personality Summary: Osprey often keeps to himself when he is not actively working on a task. He isn’t against the idea of socialization, but he does not actively seek it. He is hesitant to get close to anyone because of how much he’s seen, and the inevitable mortality of even most immortals on a long enough timescale. He has difficulty understanding social cues and often appears intimidating, especially towards lower ranking reapers, though he doesn’t always intend to do so. He will not hesitate to kill if it is a task he is given, and he will not question the orders of Death. He trusts her completely, because she is one of the few who had been with him since his creation.

Behavior in formal settings: Osprey excels in formal situations. He is confident and professional, as well as on task.

Behavior in informal settings: …Unfortunately, he’d do the exact same if he were at a bachelor party.

Aspirations: He holds few goals other than to serve his role in the well oiled machine of the process of death.

Fears: His deepest fear is failure. He views himself more as a tool than he does as a person, and he believes that if a tool is not useful, it had aught to be thrown away. The afterlife isn’t for him. He was never alive. If he fails his role, he is certain that he will be recycled into something else that cannot be called himself.

Likes: He enjoys solid evidence of his work, even if that means a corpse. He doesn’t have much of a taste for human food, but he enjoyes the scent of tea. He also appreciates the blade

Dislikes: He isn't fond of parties that are just for the sake of it. He likes formal celebrations, but even then, that's pushing it; he'd prefer to work. He also doesn't like children - mostly because he worries he won't know how to act with a child present.
