i'll answer this for father from knd (benedict uno) since he's on my mind rn ^^ thanks for the ask!
(i'll talk about myself in third person with the name arnie for clarity purposes)
adoration - how would your f/o speak about you to someone else?
typically you'd only hear benedict talking on a more surface-level of what needs to be said about personal acquaintances; usually this would involve general connection (arnie would be introduced as "my dear wIFE", infliction and all) and also what's useful to know for his business matters (about how she's a loyal companion and one of his smartest allies to boot)
if he wasn't so caught up with his evil intimidating persona, he'd probably discuss arnie's compassion toward him and her ability to cool him down during his hottest temper tantrums ("taming the beast" in a sense) and how he thinks she's the only one who truly understands him. something about how he couldn't imagine being without her, nowadays
crush - when did your f/o realize their feelings for you? how did they deal with those feelings?
benedict's feelings took a while to come about. when he met arnie, he couldn't stand her. then, he spent ages in the "tolerating her" range. what made him click with his feelings was how sincerely arnie seemed to actually care about him. considering not even his own father would say he cared about him, it's a new experience having someone genuinely see his worth as a person. for once, he received the acceptance he so desperately craved deep down, and that's what made him click
how did he deal with this, though? not by confessing, that's for sure. he wasn't about to risk arnie freaking out if he confessed (something about the fear of her only seeing each other as friends; or worse, solely as amicable coworkers) so he did what he always would: swallowed his feelings with a big ol' tub of rocky road
(of course, he did have a journal he kept for whenever he found himself really pining for arnie and worrying that he couldn't bury it without at least getting some of it out first. nobody can see it though! it's like his version of screaming into the void)
this is why arnie had to be the one to casually suggest dating, which made his heart explode (in a good way) when it happened finally. it wasn't anything formal in terms of how it came about, but he was willing to take anything
sweets - what’s their favourite valentines-esque food? (think anything you’d get in that seasonal aisle at the grocery store!)
he'd never admit it because he's so adamant on insisting only his baked goods are satisfactory to his palette, but he toootally has a guilty pleasure indulging in those valentines heart-shaped mini snack cakes (think little debbie brand)
(he does also LOVE baking for valentine's day. with benedict? expect an entire assortment of pink and red cute little treats. now that he has a reason to make that theme of dessert, he absolutely must go all-out to show he cares)
